Skilled workers: Permanent Residence

The skilled worker program is Canada’s largest federal immigrant program where applicants do not require any sponsorship.
It is a point system based on six different factors used to establish your ability to become economically established in Canada.
You must have a minimum of 67 points.
To be eligible,You should;

  • be under the age of 49 years old.
  • hold a College, University Degree and/or Apprenticeship certificate.
  • have at least one to four years of paid work experience in NOC (NationalOccupational Code) level A, B, or O.
  • You must have taken an English or French proficiency test from one of the following testing systems;

are programs called Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)  where more emphasis is put on labour market requirements.
