Business class Immigration:
There are two ways one can immigrate to Canada as a business person:
- Federal Immigration Category
- Provincial Nomination Program

There are three main categories under the Federal Business Class.
Investors:
The investor class is for business owners and senior executives with substantial managerial experience. They;
- Must have a legally obtained net worth of at least $800.000 in Canadian Funds
- Must be able to invest $400, 000 for five years with no interest back at the end of the term when the money is returned
- The investors must demonstrate they have substantial business experience for at least two years within the past five
years.

Entrepreneurs:
The entrepreneur class is for business owners who have at least 33.3% ownership of a qualifying business overseas and a
net worth of at least (CDN) $300, 000. This program requires the entrepreneur to fulfill the following requirements in one out of
three years after landing in Canada;
- The entrepreneur must provide active and ongoing management of the qualifying Canadian business; and
- The entrepreneur must create at least one incremental full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, other

Self Employed Immigrants:
The Self Employed Program is for individuals who have participation and/or experience at a world class level in cultural and
athletics activities. These individuals must demonstrate how their skills will help them to be economically successful in
Canada. The individuals are required to present a business plan and an equitable net worth to fulfil their business plan.
Another category of self employed is the individuals who are or were farm owners or managers in the past and wish to
purchase and manage a farm in Canada. The farmers must be able to have the funds to purchase a farm in the province in
